Every day is a different day- with different emotions:
be it happiness, woes, sorrows or joys. Just like no two individuals are alike,
how can we expect any two days in anyone’s lives to be identical???
There comes a time in everyone’s lives, when for
days together one is feeling either elated or goes deep down into the arms of sorrow,
feels low and depressed. What do you do then? Who will pull you out from your
misery? When you are happy and joyous, the world looks
bright and beautiful!!! But when you are sad, this same world looks dark and
gloomy. Everything seems to be going downhill and after a few days the gloom
and depression takes over your mind, heart and soul and you look tired and
hassled by your sorrows and woes. Nothing seems right in your world!!! And you
ask yet again, What can I do and how do I pull myself out of this misery?? Welllll, I just might have a solution...It often
works.......It is called bringing back life into your house.......... into your
room............ and into your life!!!! It is all around you....inside of you,
but the layers of sadness in you is not letting you reach it, see it or even
feel it...... Take this journey with me. They are just a few
small steps. You never know it might be just what you need!!!!..........It
might sound childish, but no harm in trying......Are you ready to take that
journey with me??? At least give it a try...... Let’s go.....For the
early risers:If
you get up before sunrise, then.....1. Wash your face, wear your sports
gear, pick up your mp3 or mobile which has this song by Jason Mraz, “93 Million
Miles from the Sun”, and step out of your house.2. Walk towards an area or park, from
where you can view the sun rise. Remember to walk slowly..NO running or walking
at a fast pace!!!
3. While you are walking, feel the
breeze touching you, tingling every part of your body. Feel the fresh oxygen
(positivity) going into your lungs, pushing out the filth (negativity) from
inside of you.
4. Become aware of the warmth in the
wind, caressing you, embracing you and holding your hand...taking you into a
new world which is about to come alive!! Throw your head and hands back, in
complete surrender and let the breeze take you forward!! Feel like that little
child who is lying on the lap of his/her mother. ...carefree, with no troubles
on earth. (At least TRY to feel like a child)
5. Reach the park, before the sun is
about to rise. Switch on the mobile/mp3 and push the button to play the song...
Keep watching the sun rising into the sky...as the first ray of the sun hits
the sky, listen to the birds chirping excitedly all around...share their joy, the
joy of a new day, a new beginning!! They are welcoming life...The SUN....
6. Look at the trees around you. They
are gleaming. See the smile on the face of each leaf..it is there in its shine!!!!....Is
it not how our face brightens up when we are happy???
7. Now feel the warmth of the sun slowly
falling on you , gradually moving down from your head to toe, pushing out he
coldness from inside of you...warming you up!!!
Throw your head back once again..if you want to close your eyes do it. Welcome
the sun...let it caress you, love you!!!8. Do you feel that a tear, or maybe more, might
be wanting to escape from your eyes?? Let them fall, and roll down...that’s
just sorrow being pushed out from your heart ........the negativity flowing
out......the “dead” feeling coming out in the form of tears. Cry if you want
to, do not stop yourself.
9. Forget the world around you, forget
that they are watching you!!! THEY were not there, when you were crying alone
in your room/bathroom and falling into despair, were they??? They did not hold
your hand or console you then!!! So today you take away the right from them,
the right to talk about you or look at you, by merely ignoring them!!! It is
possible that they are watching the transformation on your face.....a bright
light that has taken the place of gloom...they are envying the power in you,
which is bringing about the change.10. Stay there for as long as you want to .....do
not worry about your work, your job, your spouse, your children or studies....they
can wait...you need time for yourself...you have a right to this time, solely
for your own self!!!11. Once you feel a little better, get up and walk
back towards your home, slowly.
12. Look at the greens growing all around on the way back. Pluck as many
variety of greens as you can (only greens). Take them home.
13. Now put the greens, that you have
brought home with you, into vases, glasses or bowls. Arrange them
beautifully/aesthetically in the vases and place them in your room, bathrooms
and one next to your bed.. Do not forget to fill water in the bowls/vases!!
14. You just brought a lot of life into
your house, and some bit into you!!!!
15. Click a picture of the life around
you which is now in the vases and upload them for the world to see..They will
wonder what you are up to!!!
16. Do this for a week and see/feel the
difference in you!!!

listen to the chirping of the birds and the rustling of the leaves on the trees
and follow the same procedure.
On a cloudy day: The sun feels you are not strong
enough to take in its direct warmth, so it filters out just a part of it, which
is just adequate for you. Follow the same procedure.
On a rainy day: The rain drops are merely tears of
the sun, which is so happy to see you. Every drop that falls on you is a kiss of
the sun, telling you that it loves you. Follow the same procedure.
